Corneal Topography

Corneal Topography must be applied before laser treatment.

It is a test that gives information about the corneal structure of the patient, especially in keratoconus disease and before any surgical procedure to be performed on the cornea. It is a diagnostic method that provides detailed scanning of both the anterior and posterior surface of the cornea and produces a color map of the cornea. With this computerized device, corneal thickness, anterior and posterior surface curvatures of the cornea, anterior chamber depth, corneal diameter and refractive power are determined.
