Hyperopia Symptoms
If the rays refracted in the cornea and lens are focused behind the visual center, the eye cannot see clearly near the eye. This condition is known as hyperopia.
What Causes Hyperopia?
Hyperopia may be congenital or may develop and progress depending on environmental and genetic factors.
It starts with complaints such as pain around the eyes, eye fatigue, blurred vision, and easy distraction, and these occur especially in long distance work.
How Is Hyperopia Treated?
With the use of glasses and contact lenses, the image can be clarified, and hyperopia can be completely treated with the Excimer Laser method.
To get rid of hyperopia with laser treatment;
- Being over 18 years old
- Eye number to be up to 4 in hyperopia. In some special cases, it can go up to 6 numbers.
- The eye numbers have not changed or have changed very little in the last 1 year.
- Keratoconus in the eyes, retina, etc. no other disease
- Not having a systematic disease such as diabetes or rheumatism
